HEX Editing
WinEdt was not really designed for HEX editing and adding such functionality would require rewriting of
a large part of its code. For now I have no plans to incorporate HEX editing in WinEdt. If you are missing
such functionality you should consider installing another accessory for the task.
There are plenty of HEX editors to choose from. I was recommended "Cygnus": it is cheap and
fast, and there is a trial version. If you want to give the program a try visit:
WinEdt users should find Cygnus' MDI interface intuitive and easy-to-use. It is not likely that I
could do a better job trying to incorporate HEX editing in WinEdt (which is already over-loaded with features
and options)...
