IGOR User Resources & Contributions
|
Our users have developed a number of refined tools and utilities for IGOR Pro, and made them available
to the IGOR user community.
|
A discussion forum for IGOR Pro users: ask questions, find out about nifty utilties from other
users, get the latest news from WaveMetrics. We maintain a searchable archive of past messages.
|
|
IGOR Pro users who use IGOR in their work and have samples on their Web sites.
|
Our FTP site, and mirrors, contains a wide variety of IGOR Pro resources and utilities you may
find useful.
|
|
A compendium of many interesting IGOR Pro graphs that our creative users have sent to us over
the years.

Tools for IGOR Users
- RatioImg
- IGOR Pro 3.1 procedures for ratiometric and single-wavelength imaging analysis in studies of cellular
physiology. Separate Macintosh and Windows versions are available. Developed by Howard Rodstein and Mark
Rand.
-
- SpXZeigR
- IGOR Pro routines is for analysis of spectroscopic data, including managing, manipulating, rescaling,
normalizing, baseline fitting, and peak fitting operations. Other scientific software is also available.
Macintosh and Windows versions are available. Developed by Jeffrey
J. Weimer.
-
- ImageTweaks
- This is a collection of image processing procedures for analysis of scanning probe microscopy data.
These procedures are also useful for general image analysis work. Developed by Dmitri
Vezenov.
-
- JEG Tools
- A collection of several utilities for image and graph manipulation, text processing, and reading
NanoScope® scanning probe microscope images. Developed by Jonathan
Guyer.
-
- NMR Analysis Package
- Analysis utilities for broad-line NMR data (1 and 2-D). DePake NMR spectra, perform discrete Laplace
transforms with and without non-negativity constraint and using a variety of algorithms. Macintosh and
Windows versions are available. Developed by Frank Linseisen.
-
- Pulse Control
- XOPs for Patch Clamp Data Acquisition and Capacitance Measurements
- The Pulse Control XOPs package is a collection of five IGOR extensions, developed by Dr. Richard
Bookman, to provide a complete data acquisition environment using the Instrutech ITC-16 interface for
whole cell patch clamp experiments.
-
- Patch
Machine
- A program for electrophysiological research and data analysis. Communicates directly with IGOR Pro,
works with files in Heka PULSE format, records data from the ITC16 interface. Developed by Vladimir Avdonin.
-
- Patcher's Power Tools
- Patcher's Power Tools is a collection of IGOR XOPs and procedures created by Dr. Francisco Mendez
for Electrophysiologists, but many of its features are of general interest.
-
- EPRSim XOP
- IGOR XOP implements the QPOW powder EPR simulation code. Developed by John Boswell at Oregon Graduate
Institute.
-
- Physics Lab Experiments
- John Marsh has created a package of nifty IGOR experiments
for use by students in physics class.
-
- WWW Viewer Test
- Includes TSV sample for use with IGOR.

All of our user contributions are available for download from our FTP site and mirrors from the following
file directories: | Stanford | Georgia Tech | Germany |
The Index.txt
file contains a brief, one-line description of each of the files. Many of the files come with their own
ReadMe files that provide much more detailed descriptions.
