IGOR Pro 6 and XOP Toolkit

January, 2007 - WaveMetrics is now shipping Igor
Pro 6, the latest edition of our scientific
graphing, data analysis and visualization software
package. IGOR is available for Macintosh and Windows via
Internet download and on CD-ROM

pages have detailed purchasing and upgrade
pricing information.

A demo version
of IGOR Pro 6, for both Mac and Windows, is available
via the Internet.
In addition to IGOR, WaveMetrics also is shipping
the IGOR
XOP Toolkit 6 . The IGOR XOP Toolkit
Upgrade is available to existing Toolkit users
at no charge. New features include:
- Provides an easier method for creating
external operations.
- External operations can be called from
user functions without using Execute.
- XFUNCs can have pass-by-reference parameters.
- XOPs can call user functions and XFUNCs
added by other XOPs.
- It is possible to create Mac OS X "Mach-O" XOPs.
This makes it possible to use Apple-supplied frameworks,
such as hardware drivers.
- Development in Apple's Xcode development
system is supported.
