Experience:
Ray has over 20 years of senior technical, consulting, and management experience in four operating divisions and consulting groups at 3M Corporation. As an internal corporate consultant he pioneered the development and application of statistical experimentation. He championed major corporate initiatives in process understanding and new product development and commercialization. Management experience includes full quality responsibility for three operating divisions and four manufacturing plants.

Ray is currently an independent consultant in the area of best practices and tools for product and process development/optimization, and new product commercialization.

Professional Credentials:

· Registered Professional Quality Engineer, State of California

· Certified Quality Engineer, ASQC

· Co-authored six papers on an innovative use of design of experiments in process understanding and optimization

· Developed and taught four courses in design of experiments and process understanding for the Minnesota Chapter of the ASQC

· Created the official 3M corporate guideline for the new product commercialization process
