Mark Meurisse joined Palisade in 2003 with ten years consulting, marketing, and research experience in bank credit, agriculture, commercial real estate, computer programming, and environmental engineering. Since joining Palisade, Mark has led training seminars in the US, Australia, and New Zealand, and has consulted on a number of risk analysis projects in the US and abroad. He has trained and consulted for clients in the oil and gas, telecommunications, agricultural, environmental, and aerospace industries. Clients Mark has trained include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Austin Energy, HP, Georgia Pacific, Telstra, Evans & Peck, AWAS, Futron, Tyco Healthcare, Mercer Oliver Wyman, Merial, John Deere, US Air Force, and US Coast Guard. Mark’s analytic, modelling, and research expertise includes risk analysis,
simulation, sensitivity, stress testing, causal flow analysis, market power,
geographic information systems, and public policy. He holds an M.S. in Agricultural
Economics from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Economics from Oregon
State University. Mark has authored or co-authored 9 publications. |

Rishi is a new member of the Palisade team, and brings a broad range of experience
and expertise. He has worked in and consulted to the energy industry, telecommunications,
scientific research, banking and finance with an emphasis on operational risk
and Basel II. Rishi's has expert skills in the areas of statistical analysis,
simulation, time series forecasting, risk/capital modelling, extreme value
theory, survey design and analysis. He holds a BSc Mathematics from the University
of Technology, Sydney. |

Michael is one of Europe 's leading experts in modelling and risk analysis for business and financial applications. He worked for 10 years as a management consultant in the areas of business strategy, organisation, and operations, and also worked as a senior equity analyst at J. P. Morgan. Prior to joining Palisade, Michael set up his own consulting business focused on financial and quantitative modelling, and risk analysis. Michael's wide range of practical experience is complemented by a solid academic training. He holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD in France , and a Doctorate in Mathematical Modeling from Oxford University , where he also gained a 1 st Class Honors undergraduate degree in Mathematics. In addition, Michael has completed in-depth studies in the mathematics of financial derivatives, graduating top of Paul Wilmott's Certificate of Quantitative Finance Program, and was also awarded the Wilmott Prize in 2003. Michael has lived and worked in a number of countries, is a dual British-Canadian citizen, and speaks English, German and French. |

David Vose is an internationally recognised expert in the field of risk analysis, with two popular books, some international guidelines, and numerous papers and book chapters to his name. David has a degree in physics and a postgraduate degree in physical oceanography. He first started applying risk analysis methods as a new projects analyst for an oil company in 1988. Since 1990 he has run his own consultancy, working in fields as diverse as animal health, food safety, insurance, corporate finance, railways, diamond mining, and project management. David’s company is based in France but his team works on all five continents.
He provides expert advice to WHO, FAO and OIE, and lectures in risk topics
at the Harvard School for Public Health. He has also lectured in financial
risk analysis at Aarhus University, Denmark and in project risk analysis at
the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. David is a dynamic and engaging
lecturer, providing a range of public and bespoke courses and workshops from
beginner to advanced levels in various fields. His consultancy services also
include preparing and auditing risk analysis models, working with senior management
to introducing risk analysis methodologies throughout an organisation, and
providing an expert witness in court. |
