- Notes for Mac LISREL users:
- All the statistical features, including the very latest such as the methods for complex survey data, the GLIM module, the multilevel module, multilevel SEM, FIML and multiple imputation, are included in the Mac edition. See also the LISREL homepage on this website.
- The path diagram functionality, the CATFIRM/CONFIRM module, and the foreign data format import facility are not included in the Mac edition.
- One of the five LISREL manuals (Interactive LISREL: User's Guide) is irrelevant for the Mac edition.
- The program has a text-driven interface, using text data and syntax files for input and output, rather than a graphical interface. No graphical features are included.
- Additional user licenses or network licenses are available for the Mac.
- System requirements for the Macintosh PowerPC with a G-series processor
- Processor: G3 or higher.
- Operating System: OS 9 or OS X
- Memory Requirements: a minimum of 10 MB free to run LISREL and PRELIS. (It is recommended to have virtual memory turned on)
- Hard Disk Space: 125 MB of hard disk space.
