Analysis of Multilevel Models: Examples from the Chicago workshops
SSI has published introductory notes on hierarchical linear models (multilevel models) as
part of LISREL workshop handouts.
The Introduction to the multilevel analysis with LISREL 8.30 document
was written by Prof. Robert Cudeck, Department of Psychology, University of Minnesota, and Drs. Stephen and Mathilda
du Toit, SSI. The PDF version of this document, called mwshop99.pdf, can be downloaded from this page as a self-extracting executable.
If you already have applied
patch number 6 (www.ssicentral.com/download.htm), the examples and datasets referred to in mwshop99.pdf can be
found in the TUTORIAL subdirectory of the directory where LISREL 8.30 is installed. Please note that all these
examples can also be run with the student edition of LISREL 8.30, which is available as a free
download from www.ssicentral.com. The LISREL 8.30 student edition is already updated
to contain the input files and datasets.
Additionally, the input files and datasets are contained in the
self-extracting file mwsdata.exe
which can also be downloaded here.
