The program NORSCORE.EXE is a DOS utility which calculates normal scores, given the threshold values produced by PRELIS.

The file NORSCORE.ZIP includes:

NORSCORE.TXT, which describes the use of the program.

The program TOTDET.EXE is a DOS utility which calculates the Total coefficient of determination.

Previous versions of LISREL 7 calculated a statistic called "Total coefficient of determination for structural equations". The authors of LISREL 8 decided not to include this statistic as part of the available LISREL output. This means that you must compute it based on other portions of the LISREL output.

The file TOTDET.ZIP includes:

The program FULL2SYM.EXE is a DOS utility which reads a covariance matrix or correlation matrix stored in full form and then converts it to lower triangular form required for LISREL or SIMPLIS input.

The program SPSSIMP.EXE is a DOS utility which reads SPSS for WINDOWS .SAV files. From the .SAV file it calculates and stores the following information in ASCII (text) format:

• The covariance matrix stored under the same name as the .SAV file, but with extension .COV
• The means of the numeric variables stored under the same name as the .SAV file, but with extension .MEA
• The standard deviations of the numeric variables stored under the same name as the .SAV file, but with extension .STD
• The names of the numeric variables stored under the same name as the .SAV file, but with extension .LAB
• The raw data, sample size and other relevant information in a file with the extension .RAW

SPSSIMP.EXE, and
SPSSIMP.TXT, which describes the use of the program.
